Below are the Bios of KipCor Advisory Board Members.

KipCor is a recently-established real estate development company focused almost exclusively in Kokomo, Indiana, and Memphis, Tennessee.  

The main purpose of the KipCor Advisory Board is to provide critique, insight and management advice about the directions the company should follow. Specific goals for this year include expanding our current real estate market, as well as exploring new developmental markets.

 

 Bill Brown:

 

Bill Brown works in Irvine, CA as the Director of Worldwide Software Engineering at Printronix, INC. Bill started at Printronix in 1993 after he graduated with a Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering at UC Irvine. Expanding his role at Printronix, Bill earned an MBA at USC with an emphasis on Finance in 2001. As Director of Software Engineering, Bill is responsible for developing Marketing requirements, leading new product introductions, and other strategic activities within Printronix.  Bill also enjoys competitive sports and was a member of the UC Irvine Men’s Tennis team from 1986-1990.

 

Cory Heith:

Cory is a graduate of Georgetown University Law Center in Washington, D.C., and throughout his career has been actively involved in counseling international and domestic businesses, in particular in the telecommunications and Oil and Gas fields. Cory is also a trained Mediator.

 Cory began his career at an international law firm with multiple offices throughout the U.S. and abroad that is now part of Bingham McCutchen, one of the largest law firms in the world.  His clients at that firm were providers of sophisticated products and services, and Cory’s practice focused on helping these businesses find the most effective way to achieve their goals while minimizing risk.

 In 1990, Cory joined the legal department of Siemens Corporation, the U.S. subsidiary of the global conglomerate Siemens AG, headquartered in Munich. Cory’s principal client was Siemens Communications, the telecommunications arm of Siemens, and he became General Counsel of that entity in 2003. Cory also held the position of head of U.S. litigation for Siemens Corporation from 2007-2011.


Mark Lee:

Mark Lee joined Hamma Brophy in 2008. After practicing in the Oakland Office, he joined the Orange Office as the Office Managing Partner. He has represented employers and insurance companies in the defense of workers' compensation claims, subrogation claims, Labor Code 132a discrimination claims, and serious and willful misconduct claims.

Mr. Lees prior legal work experience includes working as a plaintiff's applicant's attorney litigating employment claims, tort claims, workers' compensation claims and business litigation.

Mark Salmon:

After a four year NFL career with the San Francisco 49ers and the Buffalo Bills, Mr. Salmon has started and sold several real estate related companies in his 15 year professional career as well as closed more than $100,000,000 in real estate transactions. A licensed California real estate broker, Mr. Salmon has an extensive background in real estate transactions nationwide as well as in California.

As managing partner at Madison Street Partners, Mr. Salmon specializes in tenant representation in the Southern California area. Primarily focused on office, industrial and retail leasing as well as sales he handles lease negotiations for corporate America, as well as local midsize firms. Healthcare, medial devise, banks, financial institutions, law firms, sports agents, manufacturing and distribution facilities are just some of the industries Mr. Salmon works with. His ability to reduce his clients lease liabilities is his biggest strength as well as asset evaluation and disposition.

The Lott Trophy, one of college football's finest awards, was founded by Mr. Salmon along with the Pacific Club Impact Foundation. In just its 7th year the foundation has distributed over $1,200,000 to needy charities and universities nationwide. Mr. Salmon serves on the Board of the Orange County United Way and the Orange County Youth Sports Foundation. He is also a member of the Southern California NFL Alumni Association, USC's Cardinal and Gold, the Tim Salmon Foundation and the College Football Hall of Fame. A 1993 graduate from USC, he received degrees in Urban and Regional Planning as well as Communications. Mr. Salmon resides in Newport Coast.


Stewart Weston:

Stewart I. Weston is an accomplished real estate professional with more than 25 years of experience in multifamily investment sales, and is currently associated with the Newport Beach office of CBRE. Since his inception into the firm, he has worked with his team to deliver the highest level of service, accountability and expertise to his clients. As an Executive Vice President, he has access to the extensive resources of the nation's premier real estate investment brokerage company. This exposure has resulted in an unparalleled perspective on multi-family investment real estate. With his ability to recognize rent, vacancy and transaction trends, as well as local and national, social and economic factors, he helps clients make the most informed real estate decisions possible based on timely and accurate information.

Stewart commands a specialized in-depth knowledge of the local market. He has spent his entire adult life working in Southern California, focused on commercial real estate and has generated over $3 billion in real estate sales.

Stewart graduated from California State University, Long Beach, with a bachelor of science in business administration with a concentration in finance and real estate. He is a member of the National Multi-Housing Council.

Todd Mahlen:

Mr. Mahlen was appointed Vice President of North America Sales and General Manager of TowerUSA in May 2013. He has served as Vice President of APAC Sales and Power Business Development since March 2010. Previously, he served as Director of Marketing for TowerJazz's Specialty Business Unit and was brought into Jazz Semiconductor in 2006 to establish a power technology business focus.

Prior to Jazz, Mr. Mahlen worked at Polarfab, Inc., where he was one of the founding members orchestrating the change from an IDM to a Pure-play foundry in 2000. Prior to PolarFab, he contributed as an Application Engineering Manager/Engineer focused on ICs for the hard disk drive market, primarily preamplifiers, servo demodulators and PRML channels since 1993.


Bisham Ramchandani:

Bisham has an M.B.A. in Finance from Golden Gate University in San Francisco, is licensed in the State of California as a Real Estate Broker, a Mortgage Broker, and an Insurance Broker (Life & Health).   He brings 22+ years of Leadership Experience in the capacity of CFO, CEO, President & COO.  His experience spans Wholesale Distribution (Apparel, Computer Memory, Cosmetics), Real Estate, Business Consulting and Software Industries.  Bisham was instrumental in the successful turnaround of Smashbox Cosmetics.


Jeff Huggins:

Since 1995, Mr. Huggins has been pioneering interactive solutions for major brands. Since founding Convergence in 1996, he lead the agency through several phases of its evolution, instrumental in establishing Convergence as an interactive leader with significant clientele in the entertainment, sports, and apparel industries, such as 20th Century Fox, Mighty Ducks of Anaheim and Billabong.


In order to position Convergence as a top national interactive agency, he attracted outside growth capital and experienced executive talent to Convergence in October of 2003.


Prior to Convergence, he was also a pioneer in marketing music through the Internet. In 1994, via a site called Soundscape.com, he offered a service allowing customers to discover, download, and ultimately buy music directly from artists online.


David Upton:

Longtime Democratic activist.  Former candidate for public office.  Significant involvement in almost all Democratic candidates running in Memphis area.  Campaign manager for Kemba Ford, a candidate for Memphis City Council.
